Infusion Therapy Treatment for Lupus
Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects an estimated 1.5 million Americans
and 5 million people worldwide. Lupus symptoms include extreme fatigue, pain
or swelling in the joints, headaches, mild fever, sensitivity to sunlight or
fluorescent light, chest pain, hair loss, mouth and nose sores and numbness in
the fingers or toes.
While there is currently no cure for lupus, various treatments for lupus have
been shown to help control the symptoms, manage the immune system’s
response, and prevent other ailments that can result from the disease.
